Iroquois County Administrative Center
The IT System Administrator at the Iroquois County Administrative Center will be responsible for managing, leading and operating the Iroquois County Government’s Information Technology hardware, system and application software programs. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Support 100+ users with a wide range of personal computer skills, including all hardware and software operations.

Administation of the County’s MS 2003 & 2008 servers, SQL 2005 & 2008 servers, and Mail server.

Maintain the County’s Internet Sites, including all notices as required by the Illinois Open Meetings Act (5ILCS/20).

Safeguard the County’s, County Employee’s, and County’s Taxpayers information by securing the networked system.
A bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related discipline and 7 – 10 years experience in the IT field is required, as well as an ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
