PROJECT SLATED FOR CH 10 EAST OF CISSNA PARK
The Iroquois County Highway Department has announced that the bridge near Amity Cemetery on County Highway 10 has been closed to all traffic for replacement.
The project includes the total replacement of the existing structure, including raising of the approach roadway through this area to improve visibility and resurfacing of the bridge approaches where last fall’s resurfacing project was omitted.
The project is expected to be completed by June 25, weather permitting. The contractor for the project is Iroquois Paving Corporation.
Motorists are advised to take an alternate route for the duration of the project
