Zoning board of Appeals Public Notice

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE:

To comply with the Iroquois County Zoning Ordinance, a public hearing shall be held at the Clifford Bury Administrative Center, 1001 East Grant Street, Watseka, Illinois on the 30th day of March, 2010 at the hour of 7:00 p.m. to consider the application of Christina Poyner for a Conditional Use for a nine dog kennel. This number is for her own nine dogs.

This tract is located in Section 31, Chebanse Township, 29N, R 13W of the Second P.M.The Permanent Identification Number is 04-31-300-002. This tract is located at 3014 N 1300 East Rd.

To comply with the Iroquois County Zoning Ordinance, a public hearing shall be held at the Clifford Bury Administrative Center, 1001 East Grant Street, Watseka, Illinois on the 30th day of March, 2010 at the hour of 7:30 p.m. to consider the application of John Martin to rezone a tract of approximately 83.72 acres from an A-2 (Agriculture) District to a RR-2(Rural Residential) for the purpose of a subdivision.

This tract is located in Section 27, Middleport Township, 27N, R 12W of the Second P.M. The Permanent Identification Number is 19-27-300-003. This tract is located at 1900 N 2230 E, NE of Watseka.

To comply with the Iroquois County Zoning Ordinance, a public hearing shall be held at the Clifford Bury Administrative Center, 1001 East Grant Street, Watseka, Illinois on the 30th day of March, 2010 at the hour of 8:00 p.m. to consider revisions to the Iroquois County Zoning Ordinance and the Telecommunication Ordinance.

The Telecommunication Ordinance currently reads, “Except as provided in this Section, no yard or set back regulations shall apply to or be required for a facility.” Added to this sentence would be “except the 80 foot setback from the center of road.”

The Zoning Ordinance currently states “minimum front setback: 35 feet from road right of way.” The Zoning Ordinance should be changed to “minimum front setback: 80 feet from the center of road.”
