Local Water Departments Receive 2009 Fluoridation Awards

Watseka, IL – The Ford-Iroquois Public Health Department received notice today from the Illinois Department of Public Health and the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency of several local communities that received awards for their community water systems maintaining state mandated fluoride levels every month in 2009.

NO HAULING will be permitted March 17th thru March 21st on all township roads. Legal load (80,000lb) hauling will be allowed on County Highways with a 15 ton posting. No hauling will be allowed on County Highways posted @ 5 tons.

National Weather Service Update: Wednesday, March 17, 2010 9:58 am

There is no immediate threat of flooding in Iroquois County. The Iroquois River and Sugar Creek remain in their banks following weekend rains March 13 and 14th, that produced 1.5 to 2.2 inches of rain (recorded at NWS observation point Watseka 2 NW).
