By order of the Iroquois County Engineer:
In a compromise between the township, county highway, and sheriff’s department these are the rules that will be followed during periods when hauling is not allowed: Single vehicle dump trucks, grain trucks, box trucks, and semi tractors (tractor only no trailer) will be allowed on roads posted at 5 ton for the purpose of leaving or returning to their “home” base of operation. A sheriff’s deputy may stop you during this time and ask your intended destination and for proof that you are empty. I am sorry for any inconvenience however do to certain individuals these modifications has to be enacted. Thank you for your continuing cooperation
